The Kawartha Lakes region is considered to be one of the most scenic beautiful regions of Ontario. Located near Peterborough Ontario it is only 90 minutes drive northeast of Toronto. The Kawartha Lakes include such iconic scenic lakes as Clear Lake, Stoney Lake, Buckhorn Lake, Sturgeon Lake, and several others.

The Kawartha Lakes are also an integral part of Canada's world renown Trent-Severn Waterway canal and lock system and home to the National Historic Site, The Peterborough Lift Lock.

Please Note the Following Rules and Conditions will apply.

RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. 1. All Guests must remove shoes while on board.
  2. 2. All Guests must sign a Waiver.
  3. 3. All Guests will abide by instructions of the Captain and Crew at all times.
  4. 4. No red wine on board.
  5. 5. Kawartha Yacht Charters reserves the right to refuse boarding of any guest who appears to be intoxicated, aggressive, ill, or any reason that may affect the safety of crew or the boat.
  6. 6. Guests must declare on waiver if they are non-swimmers.
  7. 7. Lewd or Intoxicated persons maybe ordered from the boat at any time.
  8. 8. If Guests fail to comply with any of the above, the Captain will have the right to return to any suitable dock facility at any time.

PAYMENT

  1. 1. $500 Deposit Due Upon Booking.
  2. 2. Balance Due Upon Boarding.
  3. 3. No Refunds.
  4. 4. Cancellations will lose deposit (see 'RAIN OUTS' below).
  5. 5. Rescheduling due to Rain will be permitted as outlined below.
  6. 6. Disputes regarding catering, will be the responsibilty of the Primary Charter and the catering company supplying the chosen menu.

RAIN OUTS

  1. 1. Rain Outs can be declared by Captain at anytime.
  2. 2. Lightening will force rescheduling.
  3. 3. Primary Charter Guest may request rescheduling due to rain within 3 days and up to 12 hours prior of scheduled charter.
  4. 4. Rescheduling will depend on availability of future dates.
  5. 5. If no dates remain available for the current season, Kawartha Yacht Charters will negotiate an agreeable settlement.

Our objective is to provide you with a worry free afternoon in a setting that is unique and memorable. Catering and beverages are available by option only to avoid unwanted costs and luxuries. You can indicate if you would like optional catering on the reservation form.
